Inspiration in Morocco
My journey so far
It’s been a busy few weeks since my last blog. I have been overwhelmed by the response to the launch of Cotswold Candle Company’s new website and the wonderful reviews, comments and blogs about my candles. It totally makes all the hard work worth it. I’m so lucky to be doing what I love!
I’ve been approached by a few local retailers wanting to stock my candles, which is very exciting, one of which is The Applestore at Batsford Arboretum (www.theapplestorebatsford.com). And two online shops as well: Table Affairs (www.tableaffairs.com.uk), and The White Approach (www.thewhiteapproach.com).
The Easter holidays were upon us before I knew it and we flew off to stay with my mother in her house in Morocco. It’s in the Ourika Valley, about half an hour from Marrakech, with beautiful views of the Atlas Mountains (http://www.marrakechholidayvillas.com). It’s so quiet and unspoilt and a little bit of paradise! I took six mini Cotswold Candles with me as a housewarming present. And these will be going on the website soon too.
We got home to a fair number of orders so this week has been spent making batches and packing up orders. The children are still on school holidays so it’s been quite full on! But all good fun!
