“There’s a distinct sense of comfort and warmth that a good-quality scented candle brings. As a wife and mother of three, now living in the Cotswolds, I wanted to create new memories for my own family. Inspired by my own recollections and the natural English countryside I live in, I started to hand pour my own candles for family and friends.”

OUR STORY
Cotswold Candle Co. is a British luxury Scented Candle and Home Fragrance brand founded in Oxfordshire in 2016 by Polly Oswald, with an ambition to make affordable candles at everyday prices thereby transforming memories and emotions into products and experiences.
Classic, beautifully simple and redolent of the English countryside, the candles are designed to connect with who we are and that sense of place we seek to create. The wooden wicks softly crackle as they burn, intensifying the fragrance and enhancing the sensory experience.
Fragrance can carry us to other places and times, or remind us of people dear to us.
MADE BY HAND
Many people think that all candles are the same, but this could not be further from the truth. Scented candles can be made by hand or manufactured, and each has its own benefits and drawbacks. When it comes to choosing a candle with a smaller environmental footprint, handmade scented candles are the clear winner.
When you buy a candle that is handmade, you know that there is no factory involved in the production process. This means that fewer resources are needed and less energy needs to be expended during production. With handmade candles, you also have the assurance of knowing that they are made with natural ingredients like beeswax and essential oils. These ingredients have less of an impact on the environment than synthetic fragrances used in mass-produced candles.

Our cardboard packaging that can easily be recycled or composted when done with it. This helps reduce waste in landfills and keeps our environment cleaner and healthier. Additionally, biodegradable packaging can help promote sustainability within businesses as well by helping them save money on materials costs while still providing quality products that customers will love.
