I HAVE ALWAYS BELIEVED IN THE POWER OF FRAGRANCE TO EVOKE MEMORIES AND CREATE EXPERIENCES.
The delicate scent of Lily of the Valley reminds me of my grandmother. A sudden waft of bluebells transports me back to Yorkshire and the wild flowers that carpeted the earth around my childhood home each spring.
There’s a distinct sense of comfort and warmth that a good-quality scented candle brings. As a wife and mother of three, now living in the Cotswolds, I wanted to create new memories for my own family. Inspired by my own recollections and the natural English countryside I live in, I started to hand pour my own candles for family and friends. In my little workshop at the end of my garden, surrounded by Cotswold countryside, I patiently tested scents, waxes and wicks for over a year and created a fragrance library. I gradually honed a range of candles that are wonderfully nostalgic with a timeless English feel; the Cotswold Candle Company was born.
